What it is

A high-impact US macro release — FOMC, CPI, PCE, jobs data, GDP, or a Fed Chair appearance — is within 36 hours, and the countdown updates as it approaches.

Why it matters

Crypto trades against the dollar's macro tape. These releases reset rate and inflation expectations across every market at once, and crypto is open while they land — there is no close to absorb the print and no session break before the reaction.

How to read the alert

The countdown carries the event name, the exact UTC release time and the time remaining. That is scheduling information: it says when a market-wide repricing event lands, on a clock, so a print that moves every asset at once is never something you find out about afterwards.
