What it is
When a wallet opens a new position or tops up an existing one on the same side of a market, you get pinged.
Why it matters
A position built across several trades is a different act from one large bet: it is a stake being assembled rather than placed. The alert reports both the amount added and the resulting total, so the shape of the build is visible, not just its latest instalment.
How to read the alert
The alert says whether this is a new position or an addition to an existing one, how much was added, and what the position is now worth in total. Those three numbers describe the build; the category and the market question say what is being built on.
