What it is
When a bet above $20K lands on a Polymarket market outside the crypto, politics, world, sports and macro categories — you get pinged.
Why it matters
A bet this size is a funded opinion: someone staked real money on a specific outcome at a specific price, and both numbers are public. Where the account carries a rank on Polymarket's own profit leaderboard, that rank is shown alongside the bet, so you can see who is behind a position as well as how big it is.
How to read the alert
The alert carries the market question, the side taken, the stake and the odds it was taken at — enough to read the position without opening Polymarket. A rank appears only when the account has one, so its absence means the trader is unranked, not that the bet was small. The market link opens the full book and the resolution rules the bet settles against.
