Liquidation Cascades

basic

Bursts of forced liquidations ($3M+ in 60s) across Binance perps — capitulation flushes and short squeezes in real time.

What it is

Forced liquidations on Binance perpetuals total at least $3M across 10+ events within a 60-second window — a cascade, not an isolated wick.

Why it matters

One liquidation barely registers, but a cascade feeds back into price: forced orders push the move further, which triggers the next batch. Knowing which side is being wiped tells you whether a violent candle was driven by forced selling or forced buying — which a chart on its own cannot show.

How to read the alert

The alert reports the total liquidated, how many events piled up inside the window, and which side was wiped. That last field is the one a price candle does not carry: longs being wiped means the selling was forced, shorts being squeezed means the buying was. Forced flow and voluntary flow look identical on a chart and are not the same thing.
